The FSI INTERNATIONAL BRINE BLENDING PLANT was designed specifically for the unique characteristics of Western Siberian oilfields. The plant is a complete turnkey facility, engineered to produce a sodium chloride solution using rock salt, or a calcium chloride solution using processed rock salt.

The plant contains facilities to remove and retain contaminant sand and gravel normally found in the sodium chloride rock salt. This activity expedites the filtration and chemical treatment of the brine.

• Develops normal (1.17 specific gravity) and heavy (1.30 specific gravity) brines
• Filters all solids from the brine to 10 micron quality using Hydrocyclone Desander technology
• Chemically treats the brine solution, resulting in a non-damaging kill fluid
• Protects the environment from any potential salt spills at the plant site
